Strokestown Branch

Strokestown formed their own branch of Friends of the Children of Chernobyl in 2001, having taken children with Four Mile House, Roscommon Branch for the previous two years. To date we have taken approximately 80 children to our area on holidays. At present we work with Vulka School. Projects have included the installation of new toilets and hot water system in the school building. Our fundraising events have included Church Gate collections, bag packing, flag day and a race night.
